Who I Am

Hi, I’m Frances Chapman. I’m the writer, researcher, and WoW-obsessed human behind this project. I’ve been playing World of Warcraft since late Vanilla and never really stopped. What started as late-night dungeon runs and fumbling my way through talent trees has turned into something much bigger—years of learning, theorycrafting, and helping others enjoy the game just as much as I do.

This website is my way of sharing what I’ve picked up over time. It’s not run by a team or a company. It’s just me, my computer, and a lot of saved screenshots and notes.

Why I Built This Site

I’ve spent a long time answering questions for friends and guildmates, from “what’s the best way to gear a fresh alt?” to “how do I survive that one boss in Mythic without dying every time?” One day, I decided to stop answering the same thing in Discord over and over again and just write it all down properly.

That idea turned into what you see here—a place where I post my guides, tips, and thoughts on the game. I try to keep everything clear, honest, and tested in-game. No fluff, no marketing, no tricks—just real info.

What Kind of Player I Am

I enjoy a bit of everything in WoW. Raiding has always been my main focus, but I also dig into PvP seasons, explore old expansions, and occasionally waste hours on transmog farming. I’ve mained a Resto Druid for most of my WoW life, but I’ve dabbled in nearly every class and spec at one point or another.

I’m also a fan of making things look clean—whether that’s UI setups, addon combinations, or simple keybinds. I test everything I write about before I post it. If something changes with a patch, I update it as soon as I can.

Everything on this site is written by me. You’ll find guides on raiding, PvP gearing, Mythic+ tips, addon setups, patch notes breakdowns, and sometimes opinion pieces when something big drops in the game. I do my best to explain things in plain terms and cover both basics and advanced stuff.

There’s no clickbait or fake hype. If something’s good, I’ll say so. If something’s bad or bugged, I’ll say that too. I’m not part of any sponsored group, and I don’t write based on partnerships or promotions.

A Bit More About Me

I live in Berkshire, UK, where the internet is fast, but the tea is faster. I work from home and play WoW in the evenings. When I’m not online, I’m usually walking, reading, or dodging emails. I prefer cats over dogs, keybinds over macros, and Alliance over Horde (but I’ve played both).

If you ever see someone named “Chapmana” in-game, that’s probably me.
